Ingredients

1¾ cups heavy cream
1¼ cup whole milk
cup white sugar
teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
chopped cookies
chopped nuts: pecans, walnuts, peanuts, almonds, etc
toasted coconut
miniature chocolate chips
toffee bits
miniature m&m candies
miniature peanut butter cups
chopped candy bars
sprinkles

Instructions

Combine the cream, milk, sugars, salt, and vanilla extract in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.

While the ice cream is churning, gather 2 cups of your favorite add-ins. When the ice cream finishes churning, scoop a portion of it into an airtight container and sprinkle generously with the assorted add-ins. Repeat the layers until all of the ice cream and add-ins have been used.

Place in the freezer until ready to serve. Serve with extra cookies or toppings, if desired.
