Yum Yum Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 teaspoons granulated sugar ((see note))
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon hot sauce, such as Frank's RedHot ((see note))
1 tablespoon water ((adjust for desired consistency))

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, sugar, and rice vinegar.

Add water gradually until you reach the desired consistency. If you like a thinner sauce, use additional water.

Taste the sauce. If you'd like it sweeter, add a little extra sugar; if you'd like it spicier, add another dash of hot sauce. If you think it could be tangier, add a bit more rice vinegar or a squeeze of lemon juice.

Let the sauce sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors develop.

Serve with grilled meat, shrimp, rice, or vegetables. Yum Yum sauce is perfect for meal bowls, stir fries, and as a sandwich spread, too. Try it on burgers or wraps.
