Air Fryer Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

1/4 cup salted butter (softened)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash hot sauce (Tabasco or similar)
4 slices sandwich bread
4 slices cheddar cheese (medium or sharp )

Instructions

In a small bowl, use a fork to mash together 1/4 cup salted butter (softened), 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and a 1 dash hot sauce until well combined.

Spread a thin layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each of the 4 slices sandwich bread.

Place 2 slices cheddar cheese on the non-buttered side of 2 slices sandwich bread. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out, to form 2 sandwiches.

Place the sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set the temperature to 350°F (175°C).

Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the exterior of the bread is golden and the cheese is fully melted in the center.

Remove from the air fryer and let cool for 1 to 2 minutes before eating.
