Ginger Sesame Slaw

Ingredients

2 teaspoons ginger paste (or freshly grated)
1 teaspoons garlic paste (or freshly grated)
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce (homemade or store-bought)
2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (or low sodium tamari or coconut aminos)
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
4 cups thinly sliced savoy cabbage
2 cups thinly sliced purple cabbage
1 cup shredded carrot
4 green onions (thinly sliced)
1 to 2 serrano pepper(s) (sliced)
1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds
1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
1½ teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
1½ teaspoons black sesame seeds

Instructions

MAKE THE DRESSING:

In a medium bowl or liquid measuring cup, measure and add ginger paste, garlic paste, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, low sodium soy sauce and toasted sesame oil, Whisk well to combine.

BUILD THE SLAW:

In a large bowl, measure and add in both of the cabbage, carrots, green onions, serrano pepper(s), cilantro, toasted almonds and sesame seeds. Whisk the dressing again before pouring over top. Toss to combine. Serve it sprinkled with extra sliced green onions and cilantro.
