Chive Butter

Ingredients

½ cup butter, softened to room temperature ((1 stick))
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients using an electric mixer, scraping down the sides as needed. If you prefer, you can mix it with a fork or sturdy spoon instead of an electric mixer.

Store in the refrigerator. Soften for 1 hour at room temperature before using, so the butter is spreadable. Once you slice it, it will soften more quickly.
